Our Bread
Our gluten-free bread has been raved about by so many of our customers! It’s full of flavor, free of preservatives, and made with care in our dedicated gluten-free bakery.
Our Basic White Bread is also dairy free and contains the following: Brown rice flour, rice flour, tapioca starch, water, eggs, canola oil, sugar, yeast, xanthan gum, and sea salt. All of our other rice-based breads build upon this simple, wholesome recipe.
Our most popular loaf is our newest recipe, Joe’s Sandwich Bread. This bread is both gluten-free, sugar free, and dairy-free, and it’s 25% larger than our other rice breads. It includes a small amount of Montana Gluten Free oat flour, which gives it an improved texture and longer shelf life. This same recipe is also available in hot dog and hamburger buns — perfect for your next barbecue!
We currently offer nine different kinds of bread, so there’s something for everyone. Most are dairy-free, and all can be made egg-free upon request. We understand that food sensitivities and allergies vary, and we do our best to meet your individual needs.
In addition to our loaves, we bake hamburger and hot dog buns, cinnamon buns, and pizza crusts. For those who love baking at home, our shelves are always stocked with our very own signature gluten-free flour blend, perfect for any recipe you’d like to make yourself! It can be used as a 1 to 1 flour in your recipes with excellent results.
Cakes, Pies, and Squares
For every occasion, there’s a dessert — and at Totally Gluten Free Bakery, we have plenty to choose from! With four varieties of pies, endless squares, and a wide selection of cakes, cupcakes, and creamy cheesecakes, you’re sure to find something your tastebuds will love.
We happily take special orders for birthday cakes and can accommodate requests for egg-free and dairy-free options. Our talented cake decorator has created everything from beautifully designed celebration cakes to elegant wedding cakes. We offer a few different cake sizes, and if you’re not quite sure what you need, just give us a call and ask to speak with our cake decorator — she’ll do her best to create the most fantastic cake you’ve ever had!
Muffins
We pride ourselves on our fresh, home-baked muffins that are both tasty and satisfying. Variety is key, and we offer seven regular flavors, along with seasonal favorites like pumpkin spice during the holidays.

Pizzas and Meals
Our gluten-free pizzas are famous throughout Central Alberta — often called the best gluten-free pizza around! They are crafted with generous toppings, our signature pizza sauce, plenty of cheese, all placed on our signature pizza crusts. We make all of our pizzas in a 7” or 10” option. Our pizza rolls are one of our most sought after and popular products. These savory items are using the same premium toppings that we use for our 7 and 10 inch pizzas, rolled up into a perfect handheld sized snack.
We also offer a variety of homestyle take-home meals, perfect for busy days or quick dinners. We have three full freezers stocked with delicious, ready-to-heat options — most of which only need a few minutes in the microwave, or a bit longer in your convection oven or air fryer.
Our Meal menu includes:
~Chicken pot pie (both in 5” and 9”), is absolutely our most popular meal item that we offer. Using our signature spice blend, potatoes, vegetables and cooked chicken, this meal tastes like something grandma would have served up. Authentic flavors that just taste like home!
~Lasagna, Shepherds Pie, Chicken Alfredo pasta, and Alfredo cheese Hashbrown Casserole, are equally popular meals, all made from scratch with real ingredients that you will be happy to serve your family.
~The 5 hearty Homestyle soups that we have available for purchase are just like the soups we raised our family on. Using fresh vegetables from our local grocers, Alberta grown meat, and our own spice recipes, these soups are all FULL of flavor and hearty enough to be a meal all on their own. The flavors are so distinct and vary tremendously so that there is always something that will work for even the pickiest of tastebuds. Our lineup includes these flavors: Tomato Curry Chicken, Chicken vegetable, Spicy Taco, Homestyle Squash, and Homestyle Chili. All of our soups are also dairy free!
Cookies
We bake an irresistible variety of gluten-free cookies in house every week! We only use premium, *Barry Callebaut chocolate chips in our cookies, making those ones dairy free as well. Our top selling Lemon Shortbread cookies are carefully crafted by hand using real lemon juice and zest from the lemons in our local grocery store. The ‘Charmaine Cookies’ are a red velvet creation with a marshmallowy filling and dipped in melted Callebaut chocolate; what a flavor explosion! Gingersnaps are always stocked up and give the perfect snap and zippy ginger flavor that can be enjoyed any time of the year.
And the star of the show cookie is certainly our Stroopwafel! Dutch stroopwafels are a traditional treat from the Netherlands: thin, crisp waffle-style cookies sandwiched together with a warm, gooey caramel-like syrup filling.
They’re made by pressing a lightly spiced dough (often with cinnamon) in a waffle iron, slicing the waffle while it's still warm, spreading it with rich stroop (syrup), and gently pressing the halves back together. The result is a delicate, chewy-centered cookie with just the right amount of sweetness and a lightly crisp bite. Perfectly cozy, not too sweet, and wonderfully nostalgic, they’re a comforting treat with European charm. And of course, our stroopwafels are 100% gluten free so that we celiacs never have to miss out on our favorite dutch treats.
